, ,We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the architecture and engineering industry, with a proven track record in compliance, talent acquisition, and talent development. This role requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources. A professional HR license is preferred. The HR Manager will be responsible for supervising the HR team and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, professional development, and performance management.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Drive talent development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Manage and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Maintain HR records and prepare reports for senior management.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on the architecture and engineering industry.
- Professional HR license preferred (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition and talent development.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Hours and Remote Work Options:
- This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
- Standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
