AE Works is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer, PE to join our team.  Individuals who are qualified for this position shall possess the ability to work directly with clients and lead the discussion during presentations, project meetings, shall have excellent communication and analytical/problem solving skills, lead and work within a multi-discipline team setting, adn be able to work in a scheduled, driven, and challenging environment.

Role and Responsibilities for Position:

  • Lead the design and construction administration of power, lighting, and telecommunication systems for building projects, both new construction and renovation, within various market segments.
  • Lead coordination of drawing sets with the project team, including in-house architects and interior designers and sub-consultants.  Compile drawings and specifications at each project submission.
  • Participate in meetings, internally and externally, to collaborate with other team members and Clients.
  • Champion engineering design relevance within the firm through mentorship and training.
  • Travel with team members for onsite collaboration, investigations, and project presentations.

Technical Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, from an accredited university.
  • PE registration in PA or other reciprocal state.
  • Proficient in the use of Revit and power/lighting software and modeling tools.
  • Skilled with using cloud-based and mobile technology for collaboration.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to details and high level of communication and organization skills.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes.
