AE Works is actively seeking an licensed Electrical Engineer to join our team.  Individuals who are qualified for this position shall possess: the ability to work directly with clients and lead the discussion during presentations, project meetings; must possess excellent communication and analytical/problem solving skills; be able to lead and work within a multi-discipline team setting; and be able to work in a scheduled, driven, and challenging environment.

Role and Responsibilities for Position:

  • Lead the design and construction administration of power, lighting, and telecommunication systems for building projects, both new construction and renovation, within various market segments.
  • Lead coordination of drawing sets with the project team, including in-house architects and interior designers and sub-consultants.  Compile drawings and specifications at each project submission.
  • Participate in meetings, internally and externally, to collaborate with other team members and Clients.
  • Champion engineering design relevance within the firm through mentorship and training.
  • Travel with team members for onsite collaboration, investigations, and project presentations.

Technical Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, from an accredited university.
  • Registered PE
  • Proficient in the use of Revit and power/lighting software and modeling tools.
  • Skilled with using cloud-based and mobile technology for collaboration.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to details and high level of communication and organization skills.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes.
