POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role leads the architectural design process for new and renovation building projects, guiding clients and multidisciplinary design teams from concept through construction. The position involves producing high-quality design deliverables, ensuring projects meet codes and standards, and promoting architectural excellence within the firm.
LOCATION:
Arlington, VA or Pittsburgh, PA with travel to client and project sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading collaborative teams of architects and engineers to deliver innovative, high-quality designs.
- Producing exceptional project deliverables at every stage of design.
- Representing and championing architectural design excellence within the firm.
- Participating in client meetings and interviews for new project opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
What’s Required:
- Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program.
- Licensed Architect (RA) in Virginia or eligible for reciprocity.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in architectural practice.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, construction, and structures.
- Proficiency with Revit.
What Puts You Ahead:

Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Procore, Office 365, Teams, and Enscape.

Experience with federal, healthcare, and/or higher education work.

Accredited professional under LEED, LFA, WELL or other sustainability-focused organization.

Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC).
